During your CoolTone® consultation with Dr. Jen Chow, he will answer questions you may have about the procedure or treatment and will discuss any safety concerns related to the surgery.
Despite the name’s similarity to CoolSculpting® Elite, CoolTone does not use cooling energy. Instead, it relies on magnetic muscle stimulation (MMS), sending electromagnetic energy into the target muscles. This action triggers involuntary contractions, working out the muscles at a faster rate than would be possible during voluntary contractions.
Not only does CoolTone build muscles, it also tones and tightens them. The most commonly treated areas of the body are the abs, arms, buttocks, and thighs. The treatment can improve loose thigh muscles and ab muscles and a sagging buttocks.
The most suitable candidates for CoolTone are people who want to achieve firmer, stronger, and more toned muscles in the buttocks, abs, and thighs. If you don’t have time for regular gym visits, CoolTone may be right for you.
However, CoolTone is not ideal for everyone. It should not be used on people with electrical, metal, or electronic devices or implants. These usually include cardiac pacemakers, implanted defibrillators, hearing devices, neurostimulators, hearing aids, and drug pumps. Patients with malignant tumors, epilepsy, pregnancy, or allergies to latex should not get CoolTone.
During the initial CoolTone consultation, tell us about your areas of concern and body-contouring goals. You will be assessed to ensure that you are a suitable candidate for the treatment. This will involve a physical examination and a discussion of your medical history.
Next, a customized treatment plan will be developed for you. Multiple sessions will be required for two to four weeks in many cases. If you have questions about the treatment, do not hesitate to ask us. We will clarify everything for you and address any concerns.
During the procedure, the CoolTone device will be placed on the target area. It will deliver electromagnetic stimulation for 30 minutes per body part, causing muscle contractions while the patient is sitting or lying. The treated muscles will undergo four stages of contraction: warm-up, strengthening, toning, and cool-down. Through this, the muscles eventually become stronger, firmer, and more toned.
After your CoolTone treatment, you can resume your daily routine. You might feel sore in the treated areas, like after an intense gym workout. You may start to see results two to four weeks after the treatment. The results will continue to improve, especially if you get follow-up treatments.
The price of a CoolTone treatment depends on factors like the number of sessions you need in order to get the desired results. You will find out more about the cost of the procedure during a consultation.
If you need help getting the toned abs, thighs, and buttocks you want, it’s time to try CoolTone in Arcadia. Contact us today to book your consultation.
